Role Overview:
As the Founding AI Engineering Leader of Neander, you will spearhead the technical vision and strategy of the company. You will be instrumental in building and leading a diverse team of AI researchers and engineers to use, develop and deploy state-of-the-art AI solutions that revolutionize customer interactions in the pre-sales phase. Your leadership will ensure the successful integration of advanced AI models into our core systems, enhancing the overall user experience and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
• Define and implement the technical roadmap and strategy for Neander, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
• Lead the deployment of AI models into production, ensuring seamless integration with core systems, including Recommendation Engines, RAG, multi-modal models and output LLMs.
• Attract, build and manage a high-performing team of AI researchers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Ensure AI engineering frameworks, ML systems, data pipelines, and security measures are robust and scalable.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business and technical executives, and other leaders/SMEs to promote AI initiatives, model integrations, and deployments.
Required Technical Skills and Experience:
• Proven hands-on experience in developing and deploying state-of-the-art AI capabilities, including large language models (LLMs), RAG, Python, MERN stack.
• Experience leading and managing a technical organization as a Director, VP, Engineering Lead, CTO.
• Knowledge/Experience in various domains utilizing AI technologies, such as E-commerce, Finance, and SaaS.
• AI Architectures: Strong understanding of AI architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Experience with Hands on software development and architecture setting for product 0 to1 as well as scaled architectures.
• Strong Documentation and procedural approach to problem solving
• Ability to define company’s technical vision and bring on great technical talent.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Somebody who has worked at scale with background on Data and AI, LLMs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
