ECommerce Operations Manager

The goal of the Ecommerce Operations Manager is to go above and beyond to make Bird&Be customers happy, while balancing costs and efficiencies.

You will oversee the entire order fulfillment process: 3rd party logistic provider management, inventory ordering, supplier management and our customer support operations.

We currently sell D2C and are moving into wholesale, selling to clinics and practitioners and various marketplaces. We sell in both the US and Canada, and our inventory is sourced from China, US and Canada.

Responsibilities:

Fulfillment Management

• Oversee our D2C and Wholesale order fulfillment

• Provide our customers with best-in-class order fulfillment by managing our 3PL providers

• Identify and implement cost and efficiency improvements as it relates to fulfillment, shipping and inventory

• Oversee our customer support specialist to give additional support on order troubleshooting and issue resolution

Inventory Management

• Manage and coordinate our inventory ordering and shipments, including coordination with our Customs Broker and manufacturers

• Manage our manufacturers and supplier relationships

• Manage inventory forecasting

About you:

• You have at least 2 years experience with supply chain management and order fulfillment

• You are experienced with Shopify and Shipping Fulfillment Software (like Shipstation, Shipmonk or any other 3PL)

• You have experience with inventory planning and forecasting

• You’re a creative problem solver - proposing solutions to problems that they may not have encountered before.

• You have a demonstrated ability to shift priorities quickly, show initiative and work autonomously

• You’re familiar with G Suite and Google Applications (Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc.), Slack, and other modern web platforms and apps.

• You have a meticulous attention to detail

• You have excellent written and verbal English communication skills

• You’re flexible and thrive in a rapidly changing, growing and sometimes chaotic environment.

*Hours + Location *

• This is a salaried position working full-time hours. Option for a contract position may be available.

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including irregular hours like some evening, weekends and holidays as needed

• This is primarily a remote position and requires candidates to have an available work-from-home setup including a reliable desktop/laptop with the latest OS and and a stable internet connection
