Quant Analyst

Position Summary:
Shankh.tech team at InfinityPool Finnotech is seeking qualified candidates for a Quant Analyst position. The successful candidate will develop quant models and work closely with traders, software developers to develop and implement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quantitative models to analyze investment opportunities and assess portfolio risks.
• Research on topics related to quant trading, including ML, statistical arbitrage, momentum, mean-reversion, options trading and applications of statistics and econometrics models to identify potential opportunities and risks.
• Work with traders, software developers to implement investment strategies based on quantitative analysis.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of investment portfolios and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain analytical tools and models to support investment analysis and decision-making.
• Collaborate with other teams within the company to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in investment management strategies and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and regulations related to investment management and quantitative analysis.
• Create and publish highly informative and application-based technical blogs on cutting edge developments in the field of trading

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including 2+ years of experience in developing and implementing models.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and MATLAB.
• Solid understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and investment strategies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in a quantitative analysis role in the financial services industry is preferred.
• Exposure to machine learning
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a given time.
