Job Description: Junior Data Analyst - Supply Chain Management
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our Supply Chain Management team. The Junior Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making and optimize supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analysis tools, and a basic understanding of supply chain concepts.
Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources, including ERP systems, databases, and external datasets.
Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of the data.
Create and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to visualize key supply chain metrics and trends.
Assist in identifying areas of improvement and optimization within the supply chain, based on data analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and develop reports and analytics to support supply chain decision-making.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify factors impacting supply chain performance and propose data-driven solutions.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management, order fulfillment, transportation, and supplier performance.
Assist in developing and maintaining forecasting models to support demand planning and inventory optimization efforts.
Support the implementation and maintenance of supply chain management systems and tools.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in supply chain analytics, and recommend improvements to enhance data analysis capabilities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations research, statistics, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from complex datasets.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
