We are a Zurich based Advisory transaction Firm that specializes in Biotech and emerging sectors. We provide an unmatched advisory approach that focuses on strategic dialogue with clients, financial institutions and Family offices.
We are looking for an experienced M&A professional to join their team as a Vice President M&A Financial Sponsor Coverage (m/f/d). This is a great opportunity to work for a global investment banking house on challenging private equity deals.
Key Responsibilities
Play a leadership role supporting origination and deal execution of capital raising transactions for leading VC and private equity firms
Work closely with senior Partners to generate ideas and solutions to client needs
Lead due diligence sessions
Build network across C-suite, decision-makers, dealmakers and facilitators
Understand client requirements, identify gaps in coverage, and work with front office salespeople to pitch suitable solutions and services
Develop detailed client plans to establish pipeline opportunities/ priorities for resource planning
Promote cross-selling, diversify revenue streams to support sustainable long-term business flow
Candidates must have at least 2 years of meaningful IB and transaction experience
Professional maturity and experience to interact directly with client and drive origination and execution
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Deep understanding of deal structuring
Ability to independently interpret and discuss analytical data
Takes initiative and highly motivated
Exercises good judgement and is capable of working in a time sensitive environment
Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in German and English
