Nevvon is disrupting the ed-tech space in healthcare and we are looking for superstars to join our growing team. This is a chance for a rockstar BDR to get in early with a start-up that is accelerating fast and lead our marketing function. We are looking for someone who can think strategically, act tactically and is excited to be hands-on.
Our ideal candidate is a superstar BDR or SDR who wants to take the next step in their career.
This is a unique role where you will start as a BDR, then after 3-6 months become a hybrid BDR + take on SMB sales to become familar with the full-stack sale of Nevvon e-learning solution. Ater 12-24 months the promotion path takes you too a Senior Sales Rep (this depends on you)
Reporting directly to the SVP, the ideal candidate will cultivate relationships with prospective clients in order to catalyze business development success. This individual will schedule meetings with clients in order to understand their needs. They will also work closely with sales and marketing teams to uncover new leads.
BDR Responsibilities
- Develop new business leads and enhance existing relationships.
- Utilize prospecting and research tools, coordinate with assigned reps to qualify opportunities; prepare for and book pitch meetings with target prospects.
- Strategize with team members to innovate & improve the overall sales development process
- Conduct sales development best practices with email, phone, and social drips using enablement technology to connect with new prospects. (Our expectation is you will become an expert at prospecting utilizing Nevvon’s existing and future technology stack i.e. Hubspot.)
- Work closely and collaboratively with the sales team to develop and implement appropriate prospect communication plans
- Set up meetings and demos with potential clients (Minimum 70 calls a day, 450 emails a week, generate 4 discovery calls or demos a week from outbound and inbound opportunities for Sr. Sales Reps.
SMB Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Continue BDR responsibilities above with updated KPI's
- Establish business with new customers
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
- Daily effort applied to self and team learning
- Maintain a clean, up to date and complete pipeline (manage the pipeline of opportunities, from top to bottom of the funnel)
- Superior demo skills over video conference
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
- Negotiate/close SMB deals and handle complaints or objections
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
- Research and analyze sales options
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
- Stay current with trends and competitors to identify improvements or recommend new products
- Attending (virtual and in person) trade exhibitions, conferences and meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in a related role, minimum 1 year as a BDR
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Experience in a similar role in a founder-led company or SaaS environment
- Expertise with Hubspot
- Experience selling or working in the healthcare or home care industry; knowledge US healthcare system - nice to have that will put you to the top of the resume pile!
