Role Overview

As an Operations Intern at Springworks, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced environment of a leading background verification platform, SpringVerify. You will have the opportunity to work closely with different teams within the Operations department, gaining valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of business operations.

Responsibilites

  • Support the operations team in day-to-day activities, which may include case analysis, document verification, and database management.
  • Assist in conducting background verification checks for our clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any operational issues or customer inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Contribute ideas for process improvement and optimization.
  • Perform outbound calls to gather necessary information and follow up on verification requests.
  • Adhere to established protocols and guidelines to maintain data confidentiality and security.
  • Complete assigned tasks and projects within specified deadlines with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

*Recent graduate (2024) in any field, without any full-time prior experience - please note that at the time of onboarding, you should not hold any active PF account to be considered as a fresher. *

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Google Sheets.
  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and inconsistencies in data.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Familiarity with call-making and telephone etiquette is preferred.

The Case Analysis Intern role at Springworks provides a unique opportunity to work in different operational teams. While the specific team names are not mentioned in this job description, successful candidates will be assigned to a team based on their skills, interests, and the team's current needs. This role involves call-making as part of the responsibilities and it is a full-time apprenticeship requiring a minimum commitment of 12 months and up to 18 months

*This is a full time internship opportunity so expect to work for 9 hours including 1 hour of break and you should be available for a minimum duration of 12 months.
The work days are Monday-Saturday.
Based on the business requirement, you might have to work on some nights or sundays, a leave comp off or OT (overtime allowance) would be given for working on the off days.

Asynchronous communication is any type of communication where one person provides information, and then there is a time lag before the recipients take in the information and offer their responses. It Allows us to set our own schedules and answer messages on our own time, without having to wait on the availability of others.
Asynchronous communication methods help you stay connected with your co-workers and make sure that everything is running efficiently, irrespective of place, time zone, or at-home diversions.

A few examples of Asynchronous communication

  2. Messages via any instant messaging app (e.g. WhatsApp messenger, Slack)

Being in an asynchronous mode of communication asks dedication and commitment from each of the team members. Wherever there is a need for synchronous communication with team members, coordinate well in advance and block each other's calendars to minimize scheduling conflicts.
