VP of Engineering

CaspianDB is a US-based AI company founded by industry veterans with a single mission of democratizing the incredible power of the modern data stack. We are expanding our office and are looking for a VP of Engineering to take the ownership in building CaspianDB cloud application end-to-end: from formulating the requirements and designs with customers to full production implementation. You will lead a small team of seasoned engineers in a fast-moving startup environment, working in tandem with the CEO and COO, execution of technical aspects of the strategic plan.

What to do:

• Work closely with the CEO and COO to maintain and further develop the technical vision and strategy and team structure to support them;
• Collaborate with other functions (product, design) to ensure that the Engineering team is prioritizing the right tasks;
• Recommend technological developments and improvements

Requirements:

• Strong experience working in an Executive-level position;
• Successful track record of building, retaining and scaling an engineering team in a start-up;
• Deep understanding of Data Science ML workflows;
• Familiar with Data quality/Data observability concepts;
• Ability to mentor and grow leaders from Management and above;
• Experience working alongside C-level in a scale-up environment.
