Job Description:
The Metapause is seeking a systems-obsessed, highly organized Chief Operating Officer (COO) with experience in healthcare to join our small team. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-moving and ever-changing startup environment and will love the challenge of organizing chaos. With a natural gift for operations and unstoppable ability to get things done, plus a passion for improving women's health, longevity & biohacking, you will play a critical role in driving our mission forward, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting our rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement operational strategies that align with The Metapause's goals and objectives. Work closely with the CEO to drive company growth and efficiency.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
- Partnership and Vendor Management: Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and vendors. Negotiate contracts and ensure that all partnerships align with company goals.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a COO or in a similar role in a startup or high-growth company, ideally within the healthcare industry.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A proactive "doer" mentality, with a hands-on approach to tackling challenges.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for women's health and well-being as well as interest in biohacking and longevity is a must
