We work with clients in a variety of sectors from telecoms/ broadband, fintech, NFTs, crypto, renewable energy, hospitality and more, located all around the globe. We have a diverse team (more than 20 nationalities, speaking 22+ languages), with hybrid workplaces in London & Lisbon. We've grown from a small group of 7 at the start of the pandemic to 60+ across our two offices and we're continuing to add RADs in both those and new locations in 2022.

About You
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective. Ultimately, you should monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.
What you'll do as QA Automation Engineer at RAD
As we're a growing business, your responsibilities and priorities will vary but here are some of the key responsibilities you'll have from the start:
- Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols
- Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas
- Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures
- Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas
- Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications
- Designing and installing software databases
- Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures
- Identifying quality issues and creating test reports
- Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults
Requirements

What's essential for the role:
- An understanding of Javascript/Typescript
- Experience with end to end automation testing frameworks such as Cypress
- Experience in testing micro-services
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Excellent analytical skills
- Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols
- Full eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship
Additionally some nice to haves:
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Penetration testing experience
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Consulting experience
