The customer journey, from awareness and acquisition, to activation and revenue should be second nature to you, as well as a depth of experience managing complex tasks, tight timelines, and a stellar team of young and passionate individuals working hard to correct the course to the world before we fly off a climate cliff.
In the early days, it will be heavily player-coach oriented, where you will both define the strategy and tactically execute it while leading a small marketing team. As we grow, you’ll quickly have the opportunity to expand that team and build a world-class marketing culture at Cascadia Carbon. Initially, your primary focuses will include:
Craft the strategy: develop and execute marketing programs for product-led growth, demand gen, SEO, social media, PR, marketing operations, sales enablement, channel partners, industry evangelists, and inbound content.
Define marketing strategies to support the company’s overall strategies and objectives.
Develop and lead high impact plans and strategies.
Research and identify potential growth opportunities, including the levers and channels that you can use to influence them.
Manage online social media and offline marketing campaigns.
Develop and manage marketing collateral for social media, influencer, and other channels for promotion.
Drive ROI generating content marketing + customer journey strategies.
Stay up to date with the latest blockchain developments and marketing trends.
Stay up to date with the latest best practices.
Build the pipeline: Responsible for building and expanding Cascadia Carbon inbound funnels, identifying B2B and B2C sales opportunities, and communicating our brand’s message with the market. This multidimensional role covers all aspects of marketing, including lead generation, go to market strategy, marketing campaigns, social media, brand messaging, and more.
Lead the marketing strategy and execution efforts to accelerate adoption among blockchain/crypto/NFT communities.
Craft, test, and execute early BD & sales process.
Set up the crucial tools to support a replicable sales operation (i.e. marketing and sales material, prospect lists, lead generation tools, etc).
Develop partnerships and innovative sales channels to drive revenue.
Build the brand: build upon/define Cascadia Carbon’s story, brand messaging, product positioning and the strategies needed to tell that story externally to the market and internally to our team.
Conduct customer discovery interviews with prospects & industry partners to generate key marketing related insights.
Build bridges and network within the Blockchain community, including notable influences in the DeFi and NFT space.
Own the metrics: continuously monitor our marketing metrics, acquisition funnel, conversion analytics, and SEO traffic to help our team make data-driven decisions.
Use data and metrics to make evidence-based decisions- analyze data to support growth experiments and share results with team members.
Design a strategy to rigorously test a growth experiment, where all outcomes are supported by clear results.
Execute the strategy and tactics to test a growth opportunity- own lifecycle of experiments across campaign creation, monitoring, tracking, optimization, and expansion.
Determine KPIs and manage the performance of the marketing functions.
Track campaign and activity KPIs on a regular basis and present reports.
Maintain and report on marketing budgets.
Work with other divisions and project teams to maximise marketing-related outcomes.
Assemble a strong team: Lead and empower our existing nimble marketing team, exemplify our culture, recruit and onboard as the team evolves.
Design a hiring plan and onboard new Marketing/BD hires.
Evangelize marketing internally: consistently communicate our story and brand positioning to our team, drive strong sales-marketing alignment and collaborate with our leadership team to ultimately drive growth at Cascadia Carbon.
Set an exciting marketing vision in alignment with our mission and ideas.
Make executive decisions on behalf of all marketing functions.
Set up a liquidity pool for our ERC-20 CODEX Token

Set up, recruit for, and launch “Carbonaut Treehouse" and our premium "Carbonaut Moonbase” a central online community of developers, environmental crypto enthusiasts, and young urban professional interested in all things climate change, gaming, VR/AR, forestry, space travel, and exoplanet colonization strategy.
