The maritime industry is a highly non-digitised sector responsible for >90% of global trade. Often overlooked, but mission critical are >1.6m seafarers who spend months at sea to ensure that our global economy runs smoothly. Despite this, and the fact that crew ops is a major cost driver, operators struggle to optimize for either costs or employee welfare.

Our first product targets one of the industry's key pain points. Wildly inefficient and notoriously stressful, crew logistics is a complex mesh of repurposed tools. By doing so, Tilla makes crew ops more humane and efficient.

Initial product-market fit is validated by our first pilot customer (a large German ship management company) and huge interest from across the industry. We also have the full backing of Flagship Founders, the world's only maritime-tech focused company builder which provides us with industry and startup networks and expertise - as well as a number of magnificent angel investors.
