Tampa Bay WaVE careers

FirstWaVE is a business accelerator with a focus on early stage tech companies. We provide tech entrepreneurs with facilitated access to the resources, organizations, expertise, and capital they need to create innovation-based companies that will be the foundation for economic growth in Tampa Bay.

Our “by entrepreneur, for entrepreneur” approach leverages the 100+ Tampa Bay WAVE members, many of whom are serial tech entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping early stage tech ventures with a tremendous amount of other resources including investors, professional services, local studentinterns, corporate connections, and more. We take a comprehensive approach, leveraging a wide variety of local resources to help our companies succeed.

Our Goal

“50 & 5 in 5”. Over the next 5 years, we will help at least 50 local tech startups secure an average of $500,000 in early-stage/angel funding AND at least 5 local tech startups secure at least $1 million in early-stage/institutional funding.
