Bayonet is a SaaS that detects fraudulent payments for digital companies. We let companies do business with peace of mind through a fraud-prevention software that outpaces Latin America's tricky fraud patterns.

The online economy in LatAm is worth more than $100B in annual sales and growing. So far, more than $500M USD worth of successful payments have gone through Bayonet's software. We've analyzed millions of transactions and prevented millions worth of USD in fraud every year. Latin America is one of the toughest regions in terms of fraud, due to high impunity, challenging economic and social conditions, and inefficient law enforcement. That's why the number of transactions and successful payments sent to Bayonet for review has grown by triple digits for the last 2.5 years. Although we're still a compact team, we're a bunch of ninjas that like what we do, and how it contributes to helping others grow.

Tech-wise, for the back end we work with Machine Learning models, Graph Databases, and write primarily in Go; on the front end we mostly use React.

Their Machine Learning is flexible to capture Latin America's tricky fraud patterns, and shows results 10x faster than traditional solutions. Their differentiator relies on build Machine Learning models out of a short questionnaire filled by the customer, instead of large and clean data sets, like traditional solutions do. This is especially relevant in LatAm where data is scarce and dirty.
