136 Million Children are globally diagnosed with a disorder of attention. A lack of attention is closely associated with the ability to learn, social inclusion and is pivotal to mental and general well being. Studies have shown that attentional capabilities at the age of 4 years old predicts math and reading at the age of 21. At the age of 4 years it predicts the odds of completing college by 25 years old. Attention deficits during childhood are also seen to be predictors of smoking behaviours, substance abuse, employability and has strong links between mood disorders. TALi creates digital solutions focused on the brain to help assess and strengthen attention in early childhood (3-8 years of age). Attention is critical for learning and adopting social skills. Supported by published scientific research and clinical trials, the TALi platform has been built specifically for children when neuroplasticity is at its peak and core cognitive skills like attention are developing. Our vision is to be a leader in the assessment and treatment of childhood attention difficulties. And to lead as an alternative, first line approach or a complementary strategy to existing healthcare and education-based interventions.
