• Be on the road: Candidates for this position thrive when they’re on the go. This role will require frequent travel throughout the year, largely in the US but with occasional needs in Europe, and be comfortable shooting in various Sword member homes to capture real, authentic journeys and testimonials;

• Leading Sword’s internal GenAI transition by:
• Working alongside various teams to proactively identify opportunities for enhancing productivity and impact through the development of internal Generative AI solutions, or by leveraging existing off-the-shelf tools

• Software engineering ability;
• Technical expertise in fields such as Computer Vision, Signal Processing and Sensor Fusion, Kinematics, Control, Data Science, etc;

• Software Quality Assurance:
• Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures specific to software development for medical device;- Guide product development teams through our QMS and Software Engineering Lifecycle process to ensure software is developed in compliance with internal procedures as well as FDA and ISO and other regulatory bodies requirements;- Conduct evaluation of software engineering activities of medical device new product development including requirements, software risk analysis, and design, development, documentation, integration, verification, validation and release activities to deliver medical devices that are safe, secure and effective;- Provide quality engineering input to impact the design, coding, and debugging of software in various coding languages including SOUP software;- Support software build, maintenance, defect management, and change control activities.

• Accounting:
• Overview booking and controlling of all financial transactions;- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations;- Ensure timely monthly closing and reporting of the financial statements;- Assist implementations efforts for new accounting standards and policies (ASC 842, CECL and ASC 606 experience a plus);- Perform technical assessment of new financial reporting developments;- Play an integral role in the development, implementation and maintenance of the financial accounting systems (NetSuite, Brex, Zip experience a plus);- Work cross functionally to continuously accelerate the close process;- Build financial reports in NetSuite for internal and external reporting.

• Design and implement algorithms for analyzing the patient’s movement to enable evaluating exercises and providing detailed feedback in real-time;
• Implement features that include the above algorithms or interact with existing algorithms directly in a large production codebase (Java);

• Translate user needs, business and technical requirements into designs that are visually delightful, easy to use, and emotionally engaging;
• Drive design solutions sensitive to industry trends that further business outcomes;
