• Assisting with the sourcing and evaluation of potential venture funds, expansion stage start-up and secondary investment opportunities, for consideration by the Investment Committee
• Monitoring a sub-set of the existing StepStone Group fund and company portfolio, reporting to the investment team on progress and projections, and preparing quarterly reports for our investors

• Manage, implement and support switches, routers, SD WAN and other network appliances.
• Troubleshoot network LAN/WAN/Wireless performance and connectivity issues.

• Data collection & processing in the context of corporate lending transactions and other Private Debt strategies
• Produce and update research material on the asset class

• Junior Analysts will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of financial markets by working closely with the performance analysis team and assisting in investment monitoring and reporting efforts

• Research local investments and investor markets to find opportunities for business development.
• Participate in the structuring of private market investments (private equity, real estate, infrastructure, and private debt) through publicly listed vehicles tailored to the needs of specific investors.

For instance, participate in the securitization of private debt access including complex financial modeling, which may include SWAPs, and negotiate and interact with local credit rating agencies.

• Assess marketing and supporting materials of prospective fund managers to identify key value drivers and important areas for further investigation
• Interpret financial analyses prepared by target fund managers, including investment track records and financial statement analysis

• Performing quantitative analysis, including company, manager and performance modeling and valuation
• Conducting company, manager and industry research

• Develop new and build upon existing relationships with financial advisors and registered representatives in the Broker Dealer and RIA network within their territory.
• Grow SPW market share within the territory through consultation with financial advisors and registered representatives on our products.

• Analyze and conduct diligence on co-investment opportunities, primary and secondary transactions in private equity, specifically in infrastructure, agriculture, and natural resources sectors
• Perform financial modelling and analytical tasks – create and / or modify financial models, analyze financial statements and financial forecasts, prepare valuation bridges, run discounted cash flow analysis, review comparable public companies, and perform sensitivity / scenario analysis

• Collaborate and coordinate quarterly and annual valuation work across various research and enterprise services teams
• Coordinate and review valuation deliverables and related supporting documentation

• Interpret financial analyses prepared by target fund managers, including investment track records and financial statement analysis
• Perform market research using publicly available information and proprietary databases to identify, quantify and analyze macroeconomic trends across a variety of credit strategies

• Financial modelling and analytical skills – ability to create and/or modify sophisticated financial models, analyze financial statements and financial forecasts, prepare valuation bridges, run discounted cash flow analysis, comparable public companies, and create sensitivity/scenario analysis;
• Memo / presentation writing and preparation skills;

• Perform market research using publicly available information and proprietary databases to identify, quantify and analyze macroeconomic trends across a variety of industry sectors
• Interpret financial analyses prepared by target fund managers, including investment track records and financial statement analysis; prepare valuation analyses on private companies using comparable public companies and precedent transactions

• Building and managing complex excel models using VBA for portfolio management functions.
• Understanding and exploring concepts of risk, return and liquidity to better manage portfolios.

• Perform and Maintain monthly valuations of private debt funds and fund of funds (Shadow accounting)
• Review management and performance fees calculation
