With modern deep learning techniques we can change the way people interact with physical space and make these interactions seamless, magical and more human by getting rid of the transaction and creating a new shopping experience for retail. Retail is a 20 trillion dollar industry internationally, and 90% of that is brick and mortar. The opportunity is massive and only with the latest techniques in computer vision and deep learning can autonomous checkout even be possible.
