• Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for machine learning training and inference.
• Develop and improve workflow orchestration and infrastructure components (e.g. scheduling, resource allocation, data movement, filesystems).

• Assist the senior analyst by collecting information, attending investor presentations, running credit analysis and documenting credit memos
• Help the senior analyst monitoring thoroughly and actively the fundamentals and market dynamics of all issuers in coverage on both bonds and loans instruments (notably across earnings or any events)

• Acquire a deep understanding of the data requirements of investment research teams to deliver the right solutions.
• Design, implement, test, optimize and troubleshoot kdb+/q data pipelines, frameworks and services.

• Build and maintain the core tooling, libraries, and frameworks we use for developing applications at Squarepoint,
• Manage the software development lifecycle of libraries and frameworks used globally by our teams of technologists,

• Help research and implement strategies & signals logics, backtesting and simulation, libraries, and processing frameworks.
• Develop tooling to analyze large data sets using advanced statistical methods to identify trading opportunities and to monitor impact of changes over time.

• Support the team in the compliance obligations for the funds, including ASC 740, and investor reporting in the USA and the UK and launch of new fund vehicles.
• Assist in and liaise with advisors on preparation and reporting requirements under FATCA,CRS and other global regulations, including registration and compliance.

• Identify and evaluate risk associated with discretionary trading strategies
• Collaborate with Quantitative Researcher and Traders on the strategies analysis

• Perform live monitoring of trading activities
• Use and improve tools to achieve best execution and post-execution analysis

• Preparation of annual external financial reports for all Squarepoint entities, consolidated and stand alone
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP/IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Preparation of numbers and disclosures for audited financial statements.
• Review of direct and indirect tax returns prepared by service providers for the management companies in the Group. This includes liaising with internal teams and collating information required by services providers.

• Project manage large scale firm wide roll outs of applications and infrastructure, user migrations from legacy to newer systems, high impact changes.

• Maintain data center infrastructure (power, cooling, hardware, cabling, tools/supplies, etc.). to provide conformity with established standards.
• Perform requirements gathering and planning for new hardware installs (i.e. physical location, power and cooling requirements, cabling, etc.), to ensure efficient and effective deployment.

• Manage delivery of strategic initiatives in Order entry and Drop copy flows, owning projects from start to finish.
• Work closely with developers and stakeholders on business and technical scoping of new projects.

• Provide monitoring and L1/L2 support across all services and quickly react to any outages to maintain a highly available environment
• Quickly identify, analyze and correct alerts & issues and/or escalate to minimize trade flow impact and preempt outages

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Mechanical/Electrical/Network Engineering or a similar discipline
• Working knowledge of at least one of: Python, Bash, PowerShell
