Jobs at School Space

School Space is helping schools to fight the funding cuts by letting out their spaces in the evenings and weekends to community groups. We’re now helping 24 schools (and counting) to build stronger links with their communities, to raise income to fight the horrendous funding cuts and to take a proactive step towards financial independence. Is it working? Between our team of nine full timers (comprising Oxbridge graduates, pilots, marathon runners, Olympic torch bearers and a man who ran an offroad marathon with no shoes or training for an onion bhaji) and over 50 part timers, we’re helping to facilitate 1,500+ events taking place and 60,000+ people a month visiting their local school. Where is this going? We’ve worked incredibly hard to get to where we are and are now excited to start building the technological infrastructure that can take us to 4000 partner schools globally, generating over £100million for them. From bookings systems to customer facing AirBnB style websites, there is so much to do, all of which will keep us true to our social mission of creating thriving schools at the centre of thriving communities. Locations: Our office teams are based in either Oxford or London and our schools are spread across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Greater London Talented team: Our team of nine full timers (comprising Oxbridge graduates, pilots, marathon runners, Olympic torch bearers and a man who ran an offroad marathon with no shoes or training for an onion bhaji) and over 50 part timers (including students, parents, retirees and teachers) are bound by their common desire to have an impact on their community and have fun whilst doing so.
