Jobs at New Incentives

New Incentives (YC 2016 batch) gives low-income pregnant women in Nigeria money when they give birth in a clinic instead of in their village. This one behavior, giving birth in a clinic, increases the baby's chance of survival of by 45%. UCSF ran a randomized controlled trial of our program and found that we doubled the rate of women giving birth safely in clinics, a very high rate of behavior change. New Incentives is supported by Y Combinator, GiveWell, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. We're using technology and cash transfers, one of the most evidence-backed tools in development, to save lives. We're a team of around 30 people and growing quickly.
