We are developing a disruptive product in the E-Commerce Analytics space with our cloud-based, big-data analytics platform delivered in a SaaS model. Our development team is based in Bangalore. If you are comfortable working in a startup environment and are excited by technology challenges such as crunching terabytes of data in seconds, handling 1000+ requests/sec on commodity hardware or scaling systems up/down without compromising performance, then we would love to talk to you. We are looking for two key qualifications - ability to break down complex problems and ability to foresee complexities in seemingly simple problems. Required: Engineering degree in Computer Science. Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms. 2+ years of industry experience. Comfortable working with Linux and open source software. Hands-on experience in at-least one of the following programming languages: *Java *Ruby *Javascript Experience working with relational databases like MySQL/PostgreSQL Highly ambitious and self-driven, with a can-do attitude. Preferred: Experience in software product companies. Experience with: *Node.js *Ruby on Rails *Java concurrent programming Passionate about working on complex, unstructured problems in Big-Data management. Hands-on experience in building scalable backend systems on NoSQL technologies like MongoDB and Cassandra. Experience in building, deploying and managing zero-downtime systems.
