Karwan is building a new financial platform for Pakistan’s exporters.
We give exporters a USD stablecoin wallet, local banking with cards and expense management, and an AI finance, procurement, and compliance team. We are starting with Pakistan’s $4.6B IT export market before expanding across the country’s $40B+ export economy and, ultimately, other emerging markets.
Karwan is being built by a team with deep experience in fintech, startups, and Pakistan’s financial ecosystem. Our CEO and CTO previously built Passfolio, a U.S. investing and banking platform for international customers that reached more than 50,000 funded accounts and approximately $150M in customer assets before being acquired by one of the world’s 20 largest banks.
We are an early-stage company building from the ground up. That means talking directly with customers, moving quickly, testing assumptions, and creating products around real problems rather than existing playbooks.
Our ambition is to make it substantially easier for businesses and independent professionals in emerging markets to earn globally, receive and manage dollars, run their finances, and grow.
