At HEAL, you're not joining a team that executes a roadmap someone else wrote — you're one of the first hands shaping a product from prototype to market. We're a pre-seed, Delaware C-Corp startup building a screenless medication adherence device with an AI voice companion, and right now our core team is small by design: our founder/CEO, a software engineer and an advisor AI architect building the physical dispensing mechanism, backed by advisors in psychiatry and design. We're actively looking for a technical co-founder and a senior AI/ML engineer to join at this pivotal stage — V1 is built and working, and we're rebuilding V2 with real user data to hit a major jump in treatment effectiveness. This is genuinely early: you'll help define the architecture of our voice companion's clinical logic, including crisis-escalation systems that carry real responsibility, and you'll have a direct hand in the choices that determine whether this becomes a reimbursable clinical tool or stays a wellness gadget. We work at the intersection of hardware, AI, and emotional design — our belief is that real behavior change happens when technology feels like it understands you, not when it gamifies you. If you want ownership over hard, high-stakes problems (regulatory-grade AI, physical product engineering, clinical documentation) rather than incremental feature work, and you want equity and influence that reflect getting in early, this is that kind of role.
