Culture and benefits at HeadsUp

Culture overview

HeadsUp is a small team of experienced operators who have sharpened our skills at places like Facebook, Google, Amazon, Airbnb, McKinsey, and Harvard Business School. We also previously helped build SaaS unicorn FiscalNote, recently valued at $1.4 billion, as employees #2, #3, and #9. We are all very excited to be building such an essential product as one unified team that is constantly growing and learning from one another. We work hard to build an open and inclusive culture at HeadsUp. We pride ourselves on being extremely cross-functional – this means that everyone can pitch in on sales, product, strategy, hiring, and engineering. Everyone's ideas are heard! In addition, we prioritize transparent and asynchronous communication so that our teams can work together effectively no matter their personal schedule or time zone. In addition, we encourage our team to work and personally connect with one another through virtual meetings, and we also prioritize celebrating wins and recognizing everyone's important contributions as we grow our company. We emphasize a diverse and intersectional team and ensure that underrepresented groups feel safe and heard at HeadsUp. We prioritize multi-channel sourcing in recruitments to encourage individuals from underrepresented backgrounds to apply, and we check-in regularly with all of our employees to make sure that they are receiving the support they need.
