• Prototype new mechanisms, test materials, and research 3D printing challenges
• Analyze, test, validate and iterate on electro-mechanical systems

• Deliver on quarterly Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) in a timely fashion with demonstrated leadership and impact
• Help define the strategic direction of the GTM organization by identifying opportunities for us to implement new strategies to drive growth and/or efficiency.

• Lead the electronics design of 3D printing and related products
• Full-stack design, able to go from concept to initial prototype and mature the design to mass production. Ownership of designs throughout the product life cycle

• Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware development, bring up and validation
• Own projects, not skills -- this role is for a “full-stack” engineer with a focus on shipping products, not a specialist in any one area of electronics engineering

• Create new 3D printing techniques - from developing new printer architectures to validating minute changes in Galvo control

• Complete ownership of factory metrics: Yield, Quality, Attainment, and readiness to ramp production

• Define and take full ownership of the regional marketing strategy by adapting global direction, showcasing thought leadership, and collaborating closely with the regional China team.
• Drive a digital-first approach and implement the development of Formlabs China's online presence, overseeing local social media presence, website optimization, SEO, and the online customer journey.
