• Design new products from idea to production
• Develop design concepts, with clear and compelling visual communication

• Push the capabilities of our SLA & SLS 3D printing platforms
• Drive root cause analysis, considering mechanics, fluid dynamics, software, chemistry, optics, electronics, thermodynamics, and customer behavior

• Negotiating with suppliers on cost and maintaining commitments
• Work directly with our contract manufacturers in keeping our material pipeline flowing

• Perform hands-on and data-driven root cause analysis of product failure modes utilizing structured problem-solving methodologies
• Design, implement, and validate product changes to enhance product performance, reliability, ease of use, or cost

• Work directly with current and potential suppliers to keep our material pipeline flowing
• Develop strategies to better optimize our suppliers for cost, quality, and supply resilience

• Manage the product marketing team, including recruiting, retention, and mentoring, as well as guiding the overall team strategy.
• Manage the overall launch and campaign strategy, calendar, and approach for our Go to Market strategy across the Formlabs organization

• Be the “quarterback” of our launches of our new hardware, software, and materials products
• Nurture existing products by executing changes in marketing and positioning

• Manage a global quote to cash team of 15+ to deliver results while providing amazing customer service and experience. Specific day-to-day team responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Customer inbound call & chat support
Customer setup & requests (tax exemptions and terms requests)
Customer quotes, sales order entry & approval
Invoicing, cash collections, and cash application
Post sale support including credit memo and return processing
Contract registrations & tracking
Customer/sales tickets/emails
Channel partner case management
Accounts Receivable close process & VAT filings

• Understand customer demand to effectively sell cutting-edge additive manufacturing technology using a solution-oriented approach
• Identify sales leads and follow up on inbound sales inquiries by phone and email

• You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a budget. Come to creative solutions in a cost-conscious way as you plan events and maintain our existing perks.
• Drive vendor relationships and negotiations. Assess the vendor marketplace, and evaluate with pricing and quality top of mind. Collect information and review data relating to our programs, looking for areas of optimization

• Process orders accurately and efficiently based on PDF Purchase Orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Generate and issue quotations for prospective customers, providing pricing information and product details as needed.

• Help drive our team and our culture as part of the APAC leadership team
• Build our team by working and partnering with leaders across the business to find amazing talent, engaging in full cycle recruiting by sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates across multiple departments

• Comfortable developing C++ desktop software
• Not afraid of interface development or complicated algorithm designs

• Keep our Headquarters buildings humming to enable our Formlings to do their best work!
• Able to perform/or assist with the execution of building repairs between two Somerville headquarters buildings including:

Door and wall repairs
Painting
Sheetrock patching
HVAC maintenance
Support of operations of building equipment.

• Design and develop embedded systems and embedded firmware, including research/specification, prototyping, validation, and production release
• Debug the hardware your code is running on (and if desired, grow into designing that hardware as well)

• Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware development, bring up and validation
• Design sensing and motion systems from scratch when off the shelf options have been proven unsuitable

• Drive manufacturing technical readiness as a critical member of NPI teams; collaborating directly with R&D teams to drive results from early prototype phases through project completion.
• Drive DFM and DFA in support of product, system, and process design.

• Drive brand and revenue growth in Korea and own the P&L
• Develop and execute a strategy that makes Formlabs the clear market leader

• As the principal investigator, conduct a research project on how manufacturing and/or calibration variations in a given printer subsystem affect Factory Test Print (FTP) performance and develop a proposal to improve the first-pass yield.
