Echion is changing the rules of what is possible with battery technologies. We have developed advanced materials enabling the next-generation superfast charging batteries, with only 6 minutes for a full battery charge. This enables a fundamental rethink of how products are designed and used, from e-mobility applications, consumer electronics, and sustainable electricity grid stabilisation. Echion spun out from the University of Cambridge in 2017 and is now emerging from stealth with an exciting product and great commercial traction.
