• Own assembly-level coordination between structural, RF, and deployment subsystem teams, tracking interface compliance.
• Maintain and drive resolution of IAS interface control documents (ICDs), ensuring parameter handoffs between teams are defined, current, and verified.

• Own the deployment test plan for the antenna assembly - from test requirements definition through gravity-offload rig design, test execution, and post-test correlation.
• Design or oversee design of gravity-offload and support fixtures appropriate for large flexible deployable structures, including friction budget analysis and rig compliance characterization.

• Own the mechanical design of a deployable payload antenna structure — from preliminary layout through detailed design, analysis, and release to manufacturing.
• Lead structure and mechanisms design, including deployment kinematics, hold down and release mechanism make/buy decisions and rapid prototyping.

• Own the environmental test plan for the integrated antenna structure - vibration, shock, acoustic, and TVAC - from requirements flow-down to test report.
• Define test levels and acceptance/qualification margins based on launch vehicle environments and system-level requirements, working with the structures analyst and IAS lead.

• Own the HQ factory layout - develop and maintain facility layouts in AutoCAD as production scales from prototype to rate.
• Design end-to-end process and material flow across all production areas - antenna, bus assembly, spacecraft assembly & test, and boom manufacturing.

• Design mechanical systems and subsystems for automated manufacturing equipment in SolidWorks - parts, assemblies, and production drawings.
• Develop fixtures, frames, motion stages, and machine structures to meet performance, precision, and cost targets.

• Design and implement a scalable test automation framework for 5G Core Network Functions across both virtualized and physical deployment targets.
• Develop Python-based test scripts and harnesses covering functional, regression, integration, and performance scenarios.

• Own end-to-end 5G Core system architecture across the full service chain — AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, PCF, AUSF, CHF, NEF — and produce architecture decision records (ADRs), system decomposition documents, and interface specifications that serve as the engineering source of truth.

• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of antenna/RF design and RF test engineers and technicians.
• Own radiating-element RF design — element geometry, impedance and match, polarization, and bandwidth across a wide operating band.

• System architecture — requirements decomposition, allocation to subsystem budgets, ICD development and baseline control, and trade space management across mass, power, pointing, and cost.
• Verification & Validation — V&V plan development, TPM definition and tracking, requirements compliance matrix management, environmental test planning (TVAC, vibration/acoustic, EMI/EMC), and test data disposition.

• Embedded Software Development: Architect/Design, write, debug, and maintain efficient software for real-time embedded systems, including mission critical Flight Software and communication with other space-specific software subsystems/modules, such as TTC (CCSDS protocol), Power, Thermal, GNC, FDIR, CFDP.
