Coinstar is growing an internal fintech division for Alternative Financial Services (AFS) to serve the needs of its customers better. Its first product enables customers to purchase cryptocurrencies from 10,000 locations, making it the largest crypto ATM by footprint in the world.
AFS is now building key products and services to be the leading cash on-ramp for a suite of products that serve the cash-preferred consumer, a customer overlooked by large banks and challenging to serve for neobanks with no physical infrastructure of their own. Given the existing distribution network and strong customer need, AFS expects to grow its team by 10X in the next two years.
AFS is building a remote-first team, with employees throughout all US time zones.
