People are at the center of everything we do at Chili Piper. Our core value is "help," which means being focused on authentically helping our customers and teammates every day. We embody this through our product, interactions with prospects and customers, and our collaboration, communication, and actions with one another. Coupled with our other value of "fun," we're able to effectively be people-first in everything we do but remember to have fun, and not take (most) things too seriously. This enables us to focus on the human in the experience, and not just the action or thing in the way. Nothing we do is life and death, so at the end of every day, our north star is helping one another and being our best selves to each and every human we interact with. Another special aspect of Chili Piper is our growth plan. We have monthly OKRs that direct reports review and set with their managers to ensure they are set up for success, and measuring it. This also enables us to be thoughtful about employee's growth within the company month to month. We also have more in-depth growth plans called "Piper Plans," which are detailed plans employees create and review with their manages quarterly. They outline an individual's personal career goals (within Chili Piper and beyond) with specific actions to be taken to achieve them with a timeline. This people-first approach enables us to be hyper-focused on an individual's goals, growth, and how Chili Piper can help them accomplish them. In a recent employee survey, when asked how to describe our culture, the top words that employees used were: Fun, Collaborative, Supportive, Friendly, Inspiring, Ambitious. This bit of feedback is a small validation of our people-first environment. Lastly, we solve interesting problems and are dedicated to being innovative every day in our journey to continue being the best routing and scheduling solution available.
