*What will you be working on? *

• FreeRTOS and Zephyr OS for building a scalable and modular code base for multiple products
• Safety critical real time code as well as complex algorithms and IoT stacks.
• Scaling up of a IoT firmware stack that would run on 10,000+ devices in various states of deployment, hardware variants and firmware version.
• Develop and test battery management framework in collaboration with battery modelling team for constrained microcontrollers
• Developing and performing automated tests for manufacturing
• Building the testing framework for working with test-driven development (TDD)
• Low power optimizations
• Having fun with the team while having a positive impact on the world 😊

*What skills you must have to excel in this role? *

• Excellent command of the C Programming language.
• Extensive experience writing bare metal microcontroller code with peripherals like UART, I2C, Timer and SPI on multiple projects
• Experience working with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Strong English communication skills. We pride ourselves on our documentation, so articulating your work for others and your future self is important
• Knowledge of state machines and their implementation
• Familiarity with command line environment.
• Familiarity with basic electronics concepts, the ability to read schematics and use logic analysers and oscilloscopes.
• Experience with git
