The Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded System Engineer-II to join our dynamic startup team focused on building cutting-edge devices for process safety and monitoring in Industries. As an Embedded System Engineer-II, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing the embedded systems that power our innovative IoT solutions. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to bring our products from concept to production, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and design specifications for embedded systems.
  • Develop and implement embedded software and firmware for real-time monitoring, control, and data acquisition.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure system functionality, performance, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Optimize system performance and memory utilization through efficient code implementation and system-level enhancements.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers in the selection, integration, and validation of electronic components and sensors.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and perform risk assessments to identify potential issues and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in embedded systems and IoT applications.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in embedded system development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of microcontroller architectures, embedded systems design principles, and real-time operating systems.
  • Experience with wireless communication protocols (e.g., Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee) and IoT frameworks.
  • Experience with communication protocols like CAN BUS
  • Familiarity with sensor integration, analog and digital signal processing, and data acquisition techniques.
  • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.
