About the position:
We're a remote-first team, with primary locations in Chennai and Boston.
You'll be one of the first key technical hires with a chance to influence and drive product growth from MVP to market.
You'll be working on a variety of technologies contributing to the core web/mobile product roadmap
During COVID, we are fully remote with flexible working hours except for a 3 hour overlap between team members.
This is a contract to full-time position.
About You:
You are a self-starter, comfortable working with minimal supervision and committed to seeing tasks through completion to meet bi-weekly sprint deadlines
Expert working knowledge of front-end languages and libraries
Fundamentally strong working knowledge of back-end languages/frameworks ( Node.js preferred)
Familiar with most of the following: VueJS, Python, MySQL, NoSQL(i.e. ElasticSearch), Node.js, Docker, Nginx, Git, Bash, HTML / CSS standards etc.
Excellent working experience with with SPA, REST, JWT, API development or integration
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software architectural patterns of large, high-scale web or mobile applications
Develop and manage well-functioning databases (preferably MySQL, ElasticSearch) and applications
Proficient in test driven development and performing peer code reviews
Hands on experience in build and use of automated build, testing, and deployment environment
Contribute to architectural documentation and guidelines
Clean code and agile / lean development
Familiarity with web servers (e.g. Apache, Nginx) and UI/UX design a bonus
