Visual Designer - Freelance

Outside ( https://outside.tech/ ) is looking for a multi-disciplinary designer to work on an ongoing, remote, freelance basis across a diverse set of projects. Work may include (depending on the project) visual design, UX design, and UI design, across web, mobile, and print.

What we are looking for:
-Someone who relies on user-centered design principles to produce high-quality visuals — from concept to execution — across many platforms
-Familiar with the fundamental principles for layout, visual hierarchy, aesthetics, and typography
-A passion for designing end-to-end user experiences
-Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and understand trade-offs
-Ability to think about and design at both a systems-level and feature-level
-Ability to work across platforms and mediums, both digital and non-digital: web, mobile, print, etc.
-Skills to lead projects and coordinate with the rest of the team
-Experience with modern visual design tools (Sketch, Adobe CC, etc.)
-Experience with using tools such as InVision, Marvel app or Zeplin – Cloud to share wireframes and mockups for feedback and testing
-Experience with responsive design and accessibility
-Extreme attention to detail and a no-compromise attitude towards quality

Pay:
Payment will be made on a project basis, based on hours worked. Hourly rate will range between $50 - $80 USD depending on experience
