Software Engineer

Cheeni Labs is looking for young superstar software engineering hustlers who can create great products. We are looking for talented engineers who can work across the full stack and create great products which blend great UI, extremely fast response times, massively scalable distributed systems, AI and NLP on the back to create truly remarkable experiences with huge scale.

We are looking out for coders, both freshers as well as experienced, to join our team. Initially, they will be expected to work on mobile apps for android & ios platforms. The candidate will then grow into full-stack development - frontend and backend, and touch all bases of our engineering team where they will be expected to implement new features for our existing & upcoming applications.

Responsibilities

• Ability to understand the requirements shared on a weekly basis, implement the features and submit them for review.
• Expected to learn Flutter/Android if not already familiar.
• Write simple and clean code easily understood by other members of the team.
• Optimize code & improve the efficiency of our applications wherever required.
• Ability to constantly learn new cutting-edge applications and integrate them with our products.
• Taking ownership of the assigned features and completing them with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, OOPS, OS, networking, computer architecture, and DBMS.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with front-end (Javascript, Dart, ReactJS, etc) and back tech (Java, Python, MySQL, MongoDB, etc).
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Participation in hackathons and online coding platforms gets precedence.
• Ability to work with teams and a strong mindset to adjust to a constantly changing, iterative codebase.
