Frontend Software Engineer (React / React Native)

A) What You'll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain responsive web and mobile applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React and React Native.
• Translate UI/UX designs and product requirements into functional, reusable and visually consistent interfaces.
• Build interactive dashboards, maps, data visualizations and location-based features.
• Integrate backend APIs to support journey planning, live vehicle tracking, electronic ticketing, payments and operational reporting.
• Implement real-time data updates and ensure smooth application performance across different devices and screen sizes.
• Write and maintain unit, integration and end-to-end tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve frontend performance issues, bugs and usability problems.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and technical planning to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers and product teams through code reviews, sprint planning and user acceptance testing (UAT).

B) What We're Looking For

1) Technical Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with React.js and modern frontend development practices.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and responsive web design.
• Experience building reusable UI components and managing application state using tools such as Redux or similar libraries.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Understanding of frontend architecture, browser compatibility, application performance and debugging.

2) Good to Have

• Experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
• Experience with mapping libraries such as Leaflet, Google Maps or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with real-time communication technologies such as WebSocket or MQTT.
• Experience with UI component libraries and modern CSS frameworks.
• Exposure to backend development using Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment.
• Experience building dashboards, data visualizations or applications involving GPS and geospatial data.
