Full Stack Developer (AI-Native)

About the Role
We are hiring a full stack developer who is comfortable working across our Next.js frontend and Python backend, and who treats AI as a genuine part of how they build rather than something they reach for occasionally.

In this role you will be responsible for features from start to finish, working in an environment where AI tools are part of the everyday toolkit. That includes writing and reviewing code, debugging, getting work to production, and building AI features into the product itself. We are looking for someone who knows how to use these tools well and gets real leverage from them, rather than treating them as a novelty.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain features across the stack, working in React/Next.js and Python.
• Design and ship AI-powered features such as LLM integrations, retrieval, and agentic workflows, and see them through to production.
• Use AI coding tools such as Cursor and Claude Code as part of your normal development process.
• Debug issues across frontend and backend, from reproducing the problem through to confirming the fix.
• Take ownership of deployment, including CI/CD, monitoring, and being ready to roll back when something goes wrong.
• Write code that is clean, tested, and easy for the rest of the team to work with.
• Work closely with product and design to turn ideas into something that ships.

What We're Looking For

• Solid commercial experience building full stack applications with React and Next.js.
• Strong Python backend skills, including API design and working with data and third-party integrations.
• Real, practical experience using AI in your day-to-day development work, not just occasional exposure.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI features into a live product, whether that involves LLM APIs, embeddings, retrieval, or agents.
• A track record of owning work end to end and taking it all the way to production.
• A good understanding of CI/CD and modern deployment practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with agentic frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI.
• Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) and connecting models to external tools and data.
• Experience designing and evaluating prompts for features running in production.
• Experience working with vector databases and RAG pipelines.
• Comfort working in a small, fast-moving team where you take on a range of responsibilities.
