Procurement Manager

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the procurement of Data center equipment and materials; conduct supplier sourcing, inquiry, price comparison, business negotiation and supplier selection in accordance with the design scheme, technical specification and equipment list, mainly covering one or two of the following professional sections: ① Power supply and distribution: medium and low voltage switchgear, transformer, UPS, battery, busbar, PDU, diesel generator, etc.; ② Liquid cooling and HVAC: CDU, chiller, dry cooler, pump set, air wall, pipeline, valve, water treatment equipment, etc.; ③ Modularization data center: steel structure module, IT bay, cabinet, aisle system and integrated materials inside the module; ④ Fire protection, weak current, BMS/DCIM and supporting systems.
2. Collaborate with the technical team to verify equipment parameters, scope of supply, interface conditions, warranty requirements and technical deviations, to ensure the procurement scope is consistent with the project design.
3. Responsible for negotiating commercial terms of procurement contracts, including price, payment terms, delivery schedule, warranty, liability for breach of contract, transportation and after-sales service, etc.
4. Track equipment production scheduling, key material preparation, factory testing, packaging, shipment and arrival status, and push suppliers to deliver in accordance with the project plan.
5. Establish a supplier base for core equipment, price database and delivery information, and continuously optimize procurement costs and supply chain risks.
6. Assist in handling purchase order changes, delivery delays, quality issues, claims, and supplier performance evaluations.

Job Requirements

1. Proficient in English as a working language, with strong skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
2. Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Engineering Management, Supply Chain or related fields.
3. At least 3 years of procurement experience in Data centers, power equipment, HVAC & liquid cooling, industrial equipment or large-scale engineering projects.
4. Familiar with at least one of the following specialized areas: power supply and distribution, liquid cooling & HVAC, or Modularization data centers; able to read technical specifications, equipment lists and basic engineering drawings.
5. Capable of supplier development, cost analysis, bidding, and negotiation of large-scale procurement contracts; strong judgment on equipment delivery schedules, payment risks, supply scope, warranty and after-sales terms; proactive, strong execution ability, and able to coordinate technical, project, finance, legal teams and suppliers to advance work.
6. Willing to take necessary business trips.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in overseas projects, valid visa for European or American countries;
2. Experience in large-scale Data center, AIDC, HPC or Modularization data center projects;
3. Procurement experience in diesel generators, UPS, transformers, CDU, chillers or Modularization data centers;
4. Familiar with international shipping, Incoterms, import customs clearance and cargo insurance;
5. Has established resources of core equipment suppliers. We expect you to not only handle inquiry and order placement, but also truly understand the equipment scope, supplier capabilities and project delivery risks, and work alongside the technical team to advance the procurement process until the equipment is delivered on schedule and passes acceptance.
