Senior Full Stack Developer (Python, FastAPI, React)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with strong AI/ML experience to join our growing engineering team in Hyderabad. This opportunity is ideal for developers with 6+ years of professional experience who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications and integrating AI/ML capabilities into real-world products.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade applications using Python, FastAPI, React.js, and relational databases, while also developing and integrating AI/ML-powered features and solutions.

You will work across the entire technology stack, with a strong focus on backend architecture, API development, database optimization, frontend development, and AI/ML integration.

We are looking for someone with deep expertise in Python and FastAPI, strong proficiency in React.js, hands-on experience with databases, and practical experience building, deploying, and integrating AI/ML solutions into production environments.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable taking ownership of end-to-end technical solutions, making architectural decisions, solving complex engineering challenges, and building scalable applications that leverage modern AI/ML technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance full-stack applications using Python, FastAPI, and React.js.
• Build robust RESTful APIs, backend services, and asynchronous workflows using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop responsive, reusable, and maintainable frontend components using React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimize relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, including database schemas, queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML-powered features into production applications.
• Build backend services and APIs that interact with machine learning models, LLMs, and AI-powered systems.
• Work with AI/ML frameworks and libraries to develop, integrate, and deploy intelligent application features.
• Implement AI-powered workflows, including LLM integrations, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), where applicable.
• Design scalable architectures that support AI/ML inference, data processing, and real-time application requirements.
• Integrate third-party AI services and APIs into existing and new applications.
• Develop secure authentication, authorization, and role-based access control mechanisms.
• Optimize application performance, API response times, database queries, and AI/ML inference workflows.
• Implement background processing, asynchronous tasks, caching, and efficient data-handling mechanisms.
• Write clean, modular, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code.
• Develop automated unit tests, integration tests, and API tests.
• Work with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based deployment environments.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across frontend, backend, database, and AI/ML components.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, code reviews, and engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Take ownership of features and projects from initial design through development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to improving engineering practices, code quality, and technical standards.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in full-stack application development.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including object-oriented programming, asynchronous programming, and backend development.
• Strong production-level experience with FastAPI, including REST API development, request validation, dependency injection, and asynchronous endpoints.
• Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend development.
• Experience with TypeScript, React Hooks, reusable component architecture, and frontend state management.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, SQL, relational database design, and query optimization.
• Experience with SQLAlchemy, Alembic, or similar ORM and database migration tools.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in AI/ML development, implementation, and integration within real-world applications.
• Practical experience working with machine learning models, AI-powered services, or LLM-based applications.
• Experience using AI/ML libraries and frameworks such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, or similar technologies, depending on the application.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models or services into backend applications using Python APIs.
• Understanding of AI/ML workflows, including model inference, evaluation, deployment, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, or RAG-based applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, authentication, authorization, and application security.
• Experience designing scalable backend architectures and distributed application components.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployment environments.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, and automated API tests.
• Strong analytical, debugging, system design, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to independently own technical tasks and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
