Job Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced IT Specialist to provide technical support to end users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage user accounts, and maintain reliable IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills and experience supporting enterprise IT environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support through phone, email, ticketing systems, and in-person assistance.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and network issues.
Support Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications.
Manage user accounts, passwords, MFA, Active Directory, security groups, and access permissions.
Set up, image, deploy, and maintain workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices.
Support iOS and Android devices, including enterprise management profiles.
Document incidents, service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
Perform root-cause analysis and resolve recurring technical issues.
Coordinate with system administrators, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
Assist with system upgrades, patching, security practices, and hardware lifecycle management.
Follow ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
Educate users on IT policies, security procedures, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10 years of relevant education/experience as specified in the client requirements.
Minimum 6 years of experience in IT support, service desk operations, or system troubleshooting.
Minimum 6 years of experience with Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking.
Minimum 6 years of experience supporting iOS and Android devices and enterprise management profiles.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, and Word.
Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple operating systems.
Knowledge of MFA, endpoint protection, cybersecurity, and secure data handling.
Strong communication, customer service, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, move, and install computer equipment weighing approximately 25–40 lbs.
Important Information
This is a fully onsite position in Washington, DC, with an in-person interview requirement. Candidates should be comfortable providing hands-on technical support and meeting the client's onsite requirements.
