About the job
About the job
At Cubby, we're building the future for self-storage operators. There are more than 70,000 self-storage properties in North America, operated by 35,000+ independent business owners who provide service to tenants in times of tremendous life change. Whether moving across the country for a new job opportunity or moving on after a family death or divorce, self-storage tenants really value a high-quality renting experience. So much, in fact, that self-storage is the fastest growing asset class in commercial real estate - surpassing $50 billion annually in the U.S. last year. Investor interest is pouring in, and with it, tremendous pressure to compete at the highest level. We're a venture funded company with a focused product team, backed by a phenomenal group of investors who've afforded us years of runway. We serve $1k - $1mm+ ACV clients.
You'll be joining a wonderful team across Onboarding, Implementation, and Customer Success, where you'll play a key role in helping our customers get up and running with Cubby. We're looking for a motivated, ambitious, and hands-on Associate Implementation Manager who loves making things happen, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll own the implementation journey and go-lives for our SMB and long-tail customers - the independent self-storage operators who are the backbone of this industry. If you're a natural problem-solver, love taking ownership, and get excited about helping customers succeed from day one, we'd love to meet you!
What you'll do
- Run a high volume of SMB and Longtail implementations day to day, from kickoff through go-live and handoff to Customer Success
- Support existing customers as they expand -- bringing newly acquired locations onto Cubby quickly and keeping their portfolio running smoothly
- Execute our scale onboarding motion with consistency and speed, partnering closely with the Implementation Manager who owns the process
- Act as a trusted resource for our onboarding team, reviewing configurations, answering setup questions, and helping raise the quality bar on every go-live
- Spot recurring friction across accounts and bring it forward - your feedback directly shapes the playbooks, templates, and self-serve resources we build
- Represent Cubby with every operator you work with. For many small businesses, onboarding is their first real experience of us, and it shapes our reputation across the industry
Requirements
- Located in NYC and excited about working in-person (3 days a week)
- You have 2-3 years of experience in a customer-facing implementation, onboarding, customer success, or project coordination role
- You're hungry to grow - you want more responsibility, you ask for feedback, and you're energized by a clear path to working with our largest customers
- You're highly organized and can juggle many projects at once without letting details slip
- You're a warm, clear communicator who can make a small business owner feel confident, on the phone and in writing
- You pick up technical systems quickly. Payments, access control, and data migrations are part of the job, and we'll teach you the industry
- You are a self-starter. This is a series-A company where you'll have to wear a lot of hats and help create momentum
Benefits
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, including an HSA-eligible plan with a $285 monthly employer contribution.
- Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for pre-tax healthcare expenses, available as an alternative to an HSA.
- 401(k) retirement savings plan through Basic Capital with no employer match.
- Unlimited PTO to rest, recharge, and maintain a healthy work-life balance.
- 10 work-from-anywhere days per year for added flexibility.
- Free lunch on days you work from our NYC office.
- Complimentary Life Time Fitness membership with a minimum of 3 visits per month required.
- Pre-tax commuter benefits to help save on eligible transportation expenses.
Cubby is committed to promoting equality, inclusion, and diversity and that’s already represented on our team. We’re an equal-opportunity employer of the brightest minds we can find - regardless of race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, or identity.
