Performance Tester

Job Description:
Mandatory Skills
o Strong hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling + Karate.
o We are also open to profiles with strong Gatling expertise.
o Expert-level scripting/programming experience in Java and JavaScript is mandatory.
o Good understanding and hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD integration.
o Experience integrating performance testing into automated CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

Good to Have
o Knowledge of architecture, performance strategy, execution, and system design thinking.
o Experience with chaos engineering tools and practices, including Chaos Monkey and Gremlin.
o Deep understanding of software and hardware SDLC dimensions.
o Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
o Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, DevOps, architecture, and infrastructure teams.
o Experience in leading performance engineering initiatives and driving performance improvements across applications and systems.

Role Expectations
o Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing.
o Develop and maintain robust performance test scripts and frameworks.
o Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendations.
o Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.
o Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams on performance strategy and system design.
o Contribute to resilience and chaos engineering initiatives.
o Drive performance engineering best practices across the software development lifecycle.
