Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented SDET – Selenium Java Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing across UI and API layers. The ideal candidate will contribute to high product quality by combining strong testing fundamentals with robust automation practices integrated into CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium
• Write data-driven functional test scripts for web applications
• Develop and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured
• Contribute to building and enhancing enterprise-grade automation frameworks
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Prepare detailed manual test cases based on requirements and user stories
• Execute manual functional, regression, and integration tests when required
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for resolution
• Participate in test planning, test design, and review activities
• Ensure high test coverage for both UI and API layers

Requirements

• Engineering Degree
• Minimum 1+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, STLC, and defect lifecycle
• Hands-on experience in manual test case design and execution
• Strong programming knowledge in Java
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in API automation using Rest Assured
• Experience in developing data-driven automation frameworks
• Understanding of test automation best practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
