UI/UX Designer

UI/UX Product Designer

About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, product-minded UI/UX Designer who combines strong design aesthetics with user-centric problem-solving. As an early-stage startup, we need someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, moving between product design and visual communication, and turning ideas into delightful user experiences.

Must-Haves
Product Design: Design intuitive, user-friendly experiences across mobile apps, PWAs, and desktop web applications.
End-to-End UX: Translate problem statements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI designs.
Visual Design: Strong visual aesthetics, typography, colour theory, layout, and attention to detail.
Graphic Design: Be comfortable dedicating approximately 20% of your bandwidth to marketing creatives, social media graphics, banners, and other brand assets.
Product Thinking: Understand user needs, business goals, and usability when making design decisions.
Engineering Collaboration: Work closely with engineers during sprints, handoffs, and implementation. Have a basic understanding of UI/UX development and technical feasibility.
Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma and familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
Good to Have
Experience working in an early-stage startup or a lean product team.
Experience designing for marketplaces, booking platforms, or consumer-facing products.
Understanding of design systems, responsive design, and accessibility.
A creative mindset, curiosity, ownership, and willingness to experiment.
