About the Role

Neotrix Systems is seeking skilled Data Engineers to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, modern data platforms, and data integration solutions that support enterprise analytics, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation initiatives.
The role focuses on building reliable, secure, and high-performing data infrastructure that enables organizations to collect, process, transform, and utilize data effectively. Data Engineers collaborate with cloud engineers, data scientists, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver integrated data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and AI applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for collecting, transforming, and delivering data.

• Develop and manage ETL/ELT processes that integrate data from databases, applications, APIs, and other sources.

• Design data models, schemas, and structures for analytics, reporting, and business applications.

• Build and maintain data warehouses, data lakes, or modern cloud data platforms.

• Implement data quality, validation, monitoring, and reliability practices across data pipelines.

• Develop batch and real-time data processing solutions where required.

• Optimize data pipelines, queries, storage, and processing for performance, scalability, and cost.

• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to support data and AI initiatives.

• Apply appropriate data security, governance, access controls, and privacy practices.

• Troubleshoot data pipeline and platform issues and maintain technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases and data processing technologies.

• Programming or scripting experience with Python, Java, Scala or similar languages.

• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and working with data integration and transformation processes.

• Knowledge of data modelling, data warehousing, data lakes, and modern data architectures.

• Familiarity with cloud data platforms and services across AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Experience with technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse, or similar platforms is an advantage.

• Understanding of data quality, governance, security, monitoring, and access management.

• Familiarity with batch and streaming data processing is an advantage.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
