Role: Senior OpenText Developer – Documentum & AWS

Location: Raleigh-NC/ Plano/Richardson - TX / Hard fort - CT / Tempe - AZ

Workplace Type: 3 Days Hybrid / On-site

Employment Type: W2 or 1099 Contract

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

Documentum Expertise

• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and troubleshooting Documentum applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with Documentum Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View, Brava, CTS, xPlore, and DFC Client.
• 3+ years of experience with OpenText Knowledge Discovery and other AI capabilities.
• Strong understanding of Documentum architecture, object model, security, and configuration.
• Experience with Documentum platform upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting.

API Development

• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing REST APIs using Spring Framework.
• Experience developing APIs for Documentum or similar Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms.
• Strong understanding of API design, integration, security, and troubleshooting.

Programming & Development Tools

• 7+ years of experience with Java and Python.
• Proficiency with:
• Git
• Jenkins
• Jira
• IntelliJ IDEA
• Tomcat / J2EE
• Relational databases
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and architecture.

Software Development Practices

• Experience with unit testing and code coverage.
• Understanding of software deployment and release processes.
• Experience with vulnerability management and system monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues.

AWS / Cloud Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with:
• EC2
• ECS
• RDS
• ALB
• SSM
• SQS
• SNS
• Lambda
• AWS SDK
• Strong troubleshooting skills for AWS deployments.
• Experience reviewing AWS configurations, security policies, and application/infrastructure logs. Agile / Scrum
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Experience participating in:
• Sprint Planning
• Backlog Refinement
• Daily Stand-ups
• Sprint Retrospectives

Collaboration & Communication

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or team members.

Self-Management

• Ability to independently manage tasks, priorities, and deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
