About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Designer to join our world class engineering and
product team to lead the design initiatives that will take SimpliSmartʼs user
experience to the next level while we rapidly scale on our journey from 10-to-100.

What's Expected of You

• Develop user Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of our users: ML
• engineers in enterprise environments by getting your hands dirty trying their
• complex workflows to learn what they do and appreciate their challenges
• Simplify complex technical solutions: Constantly try to cover your technical
• knowledge gaps with active learning to improve your understanding of the
• complex systems and simplify it for end users.
• UX and competitor research: Plan, conduct, document and present research
• work related to different product areas.
• Collaborative UX design: Produce high quality UX designs by collaborating
• closely with product and engineering teams to understand technical problemsJD - Senior Designer1
• and solutions.
• Design Communication and alignment: Strong verbal communication and
• well structured documentation to justify design choices and handover final
• deliverables
• Design Systems & Process: Set up the design systems and processes to
• ensure quality of experience on the platform as the team and product scales
• and help the organisation transition to new ways of working
• AIAugmented Work: Use AI tools effectively across all of the above, while
• fully owning and being accountable for all decisions made

What We're Looking For
(Must-Have)

• 3-5 years of experience specifically as a UX designer
• AI Fundamentals: Baseline understanding of how AI models and agents work
• internally (at least LLMs)
• Technical Curiosity: Genuine desire to go deep on cloud infrastructure and
• AI/ML concepts

Good to Have

• Technical Background: CS degree, or 1 year of experience as a software
• engineer, ML engineer, or data scientist (internships included)
• Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous, zero-to-one environments
• Familiarity with AI/ML theory and cloud infrastructure concepts — Kubernetes,
• Docker, CI/CD
