We are looking for an HR Generalist who can manage the complete employee experience—from hiring and onboarding to payroll coordination, administration, employee engagement and workplace culture.

What You’ll Do

Recruitment and onboarding

• Work with hiring managers to understand staffing requirements and create clear, engaging job postings.
• Publish openings on relevant platforms and maintain candidate pipelines.
• Review applications, shortlist suitable candidates and conduct initial screening conversations.
• Coordinate interviews, meetings, feedback and follow-ups with candidates and internal teams.
• Prepare offer documentation and manage the onboarding process for new employees.
• Maintain organized recruitment records and provide regular hiring updates.

HR operations and administration

• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave information and HR documentation.
• Coordinate payroll inputs and work with the relevant internal or external partners to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing.
• Support employee travel arrangements and routine workplace administration.
• Assist with HR policies, performance-review cycles and compliance-related documentation.
• Coordinate employee exits, including documentation and handovers.

Culture, wellness and employee experience

• Help build a welcoming, collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Plan employee-engagement, wellness and team-building initiatives.
• Regularly connect with employees, gather feedback and identify opportunities to improve workplace happiness.
• Support managers and employees with day-to-day people-related questions.
• Organize celebrations, team activities and other initiatives that help employees feel connected and valued.

AI and process improvement

• Use AI and automation tools to improve job-posting creation, candidate sourcing, résumé screening, interview coordination and other HR workflows.
• Identify opportunities to simplify repetitive administrative work.
• Experiment responsibly with new tools while maintaining candidate and employee confidentiality.

What We’re Looking For

• At least two years of relevant experience in an HR Generalist, HR Operations or similar role.
• Demonstrated stability and ownership, ideally including at least two years with the same organization.
• Hands-on experience with recruitment, candidate shortlisting, interview scheduling and onboarding.
• Working knowledge of payroll coordination, employee administration and engagement activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail and follow-through.
• Comfort working independently and managing varied responsibilities in a fast-moving startup.
• A proactive, approachable and employee-focused mindset.
• Familiarity with AI-powered recruitment or productivity tools is a strong advantage.

Work Arrangement

This is a Bengaluru-based, predominantly work-from-office position. It is not a remote role. Occasional work from home may be permitted when needed, subject to the role’s requirements and prior coordination.
