Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) – BFSI to serve as our in-house domain authority on banking, financial services, and insurance. This is a technical/advisory role focused on ensuring our enterprise software and technology solutions are grounded in real banking processes, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate brings deep, practical knowledge of BFSI operations, compliance, and technology adoption, and is able to translate that knowledge into solution design, product direction, and thought leadership across emerging areas such as AI, Blockchain, CBDC, Stable Coin, and digital trade finance.

Key Responsibilities

● Act as the go-to subject matter expert on BFSI domain matters — banking operations, risk, compliance, audit, and regulatory frameworks (RBI and other relevant regulators).
● Advise product and engineering teams on functional requirements, use cases, and compliance considerations to ensure solutions are fit for the banking and financial services environment.
● Design and validate solution architecture and functional specifications for BFSI-focused offerings, including AI, Blockchain, Internal Audit Automation, CBDC, Stable Coin, and digital trade finance.
● Track and interpret regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging technologies in the BFSI space, translating them into actionable insights for the business.
● Develop whitepapers, case studies, proof-of-concepts, and training materials to build BFSI domain capability across internal teams.
● Represent the company as a BFSI domain expert at industry forums, conferences, and working groups.
● Provide structured domain insights and market feedback to product leadership to help shape and refine the product roadmap.
● Mentor and upskill internal teams on BFSI processes, terminology, and regulatory nuances.

Qualification and Requirement

● Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in the BFSI sector, with deep exposure to banking operations, compliance, risk, or audit functions.
● Demonstrated expertise advising on or implementing technology solutions within banks and other financial institutions.
● Strong understanding of banking processes and compliance-driven / regulated environments.
● Prior experience with AI, Blockchain solutions, CBDC (Central Bank Digital Currency), Stable Coin, and trade finance is a strong advantage.
● Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex domain knowledge for technical and business audiences.
● MBA or equivalent degree preferred, ideally with an additional background in IT / Engineering.
